I have experienced acid reflux, and I understand the discomfort of feeling acid rise in your esophagus after a delicious meal. It’s a terrible sensation! Today, I am sharing 3 super tips that helped me address this issue for good!

1. Address the root cause, which often lies in your diet. What you eat daily can either support your health or harm it.

2. Opt for alkaline-rich whole plant foods like potatoes, rice, plenty of vegetables, and fruits. Reduce acidic foods such as excessive animal products, dairy, processed foods, and overly refined grains and sugar.

3. Assess your cooking methods. Consuming foods high in processed fats can lead to acidity. Avoid deep-frying food as it depletes nutrients and contributes to gut acidity from oil buildup. Instead, try sautéing, boiling, grilling, air-frying, steaming, and other healthier cooking techniques.
