HOW TO GET MOVING AGAIN WHEN IT FEELS HARD

Finding it challenging to meet your step goal?

Here are three strategies I used to simplify the process:

Habit Bundle: Pairing a less desirable task with a necessary one. For instance, I enjoy listening to podcasts, so I combine this with my evening walks, making it a delightful experience.

Accountability: Enlist support from someone who motivates you beyond your initial feelings. I stay on track by having a walking buddy who encourages me when I lack motivation, and vice versa.

Start Small: Building habits gradually is key. Instead of overwhelming myself by trying to incorporate weight lifting, swimming, and hitting my step goal all at once, I focus on mastering one habit at a time.
