When you are on the road to healing from lifestyle disease, it is not as easy as saying move more..It takes more than that.
Below are three things from my own personal healing journey that I have seen being fundamental to my own health.
1. What is on your plate? Eating whole plant foods full of fiber and healthy fats are instrumental in insulating the body from harm. What we eat daily overtime will reflect on our health.
2. What is going on in your mind? Stressors are normal in life and at times we can have life throw curve balls at us that we were not expecting. How then do we deal with this stress? Will it be through community, therapy or spiritual support?
3. What’s happening inside your heart? Have you forgiven past hurts or are you still hanging on to them. What baggage are you not letting go of? Stop imprisoning yourself and let go and let God heal your heart.
When we have the plate, mind and heart in harmony, then healing takes a right turn towards healthy living.
